Listen Up - PrintThis piece resonates with me on multiple levels. On the surface, its about how much I love and appreciate Red Rocks Amphitheater, and the natural beauty that surrounds it. Its a magical and often surreal environment where the vision of a psychedelic jackalope with a third eye jumping out of the bushes is not that far fetched :) On a deeper level, this is about how powerful listening can be. Not only listening to live music at a place like Red Rocks,

where I lived for the past two years

Through the seasons the views of this part of the mountains change dramaticaly

I actually inherited it from a landlord in Boulder about 4 years ago

I would affectionately refer to this one as a slow burn 🔥⏳🔥 I’ve been chipping away at this off and on for the last few years

but straight up scary at night

For about two weeks towards the end of October
