Goldsmith’s Animated Nature | Vol. IIUndated; circa 1848; published by Fullarton. Volume II of this well known and highly collectible Victorian natural history text, sought after for its numerous, beautiful, hand colored prints. This volume contains 35 colored prints. There are mostly birds but also a great mix of insects, fish, mollusks, and butterflies. Condition is good with lots of wear to the spine, some age tanning, and pencil marks inside the back cover.
