Tsunobukuro - Undyed Hemp Horn BagJapanese hemp tsuno bukuro, or "horn bag" Tsuno bukuro are composed of a single long piece of hand woven fabric, sewn together on the bias to produce this horn shaped bag. The bias construction of a tsuno bukuro is useful because it allows the fabric to stretch and therefore support a heavy load. It also protects the stitching from exposure. Typically, these types of bags were used to transport or store grains in old Japan. This bag is hand stitched
