Villiaumaite, Greenland, Miniature-Sized Specimen2. 14 in x1. 66 in x 0. 9 in 57 grams Tiny, glassy red patches of Villiaumite are scattered in a triangular block of dark gray gneiss. A rare halide mineral, Villiaumite is known for its red color, and this specimen is blood red which gives a startling contrast to the muted gray color of the surrounding gneiss. Overall specimen is miniature sized.
