The oval setting that holds a cabochon dome is 1" long and 11 16 inch wide. The ring is sturdy but easily adjustable. The ring comes with a certificate of authenticity in a beautiful draw string pouch.

The brooch base-setting measures 1 7/8 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide
