Mooring winches1 Scope This International Standard specifies requirements for the design, operation, performance and acceptance tests of automatic and non automatic mooring winches, with hydraulic, electric or steam drive, which fulfil the functions of manoeuvring, holding and storing mooring ropes on a single drum.
