Physocarpus o. 'Summer Wine' #2Improved variety of ninebark with neat, compact branching and fine, deeply cut, dark crimson red leaves. Summer Wine combines the fine texture of Physocarpus 'Nanus' with the dark foliage of Diabolo. Requires little pruning. Pinkish white flowers in mid summer show nicely against the dark foliage. Bloom: Summer Light: full sun Soil: well drained, regular garden soil Spacing: 5 6' Height at maturity: 5 6' Foliage: deep green Fall foliage: purple to red
