2020 Elvio Cogno "Bordini" Barbaresco, Piedmont, Italy
Description
2020 Elvio Cogno "Bordini" Barbaresco, Piedmont, ItalyABOUT THIS WINE The result of an excellent vintage, the Barbaresco Bordini 2020 is a wine of great impact, because of its exuberant and rich aromatic profile, composed of ripe strawberry, Mediterranean herbs, cola, and sweet spices. It is a tasty, vibrant, and fresh wine, which does not lack the typical and dense tannic texture that gives thickness to the sip. The correspondence between nose and mouth is excellent and the aftertaste is decidedly long.
Through careful vineyard management and a restrained approach in the cellar
here Muscat de Frontignan was planted in 2003 in the stony calcareous-clay soils
