Lilac Mookaite TrillionAnother Outback gemstone mined by Glenn Archer. Mostly recognized for it's cardinal red and gold, this newer material has our jaws on the floor! Mookaite is named after the Mookaite region in Australia where it is found. While it is categorized as a Jasper, interestingly enough this material is technically a sedementary radiolarite. Radiolarians are microfossils with a siliceous shell that are part of the zooplankton and live in the first 200 meters

This gemstone is part of the Lavender Hubei family and while it's not a turquoise
