Stapelia gigantea
Description
Stapelia giganteaThis is a very interesting subtropical cactus milkweed. They produce carrion flowers which look straight up like the monster from Stranger Things and they STINK. The smell like death to attract their native pollinators; flies! Though don't worry, they only bloom usually in the fall and it only lasts 2 3 days. Care We recommend watering every 12 14 days. These can handle direct sun although bright filtered is ideal. When repotting, use a coarse cacti
We recommend watering every 3-4 weeks and if repotted a cactus mix is needed
we recommend an all-purpose houseplant soil that will drain water well
Complimentary wine served (to those over 21)
An unusual recently created cultivar we are head over heels for
This can roughly be about every 7-10 days as the soil is at least 2-3" dry between waterings
They are versatile in terms of lighting
It is a deciduous species
These would do best in a bright filtered light and can even handle some direct sun
you can give these a full watering when the top few inches of soil is dry
They like bright indirect light never direct sun
This Asian Hoya is very similar to lacunosa
Water roughly every 10-14 days in the summer as the pot is completely dry
