Description

2024 Bisci Verdicchio di Matelica, Marche, ItalyABOUT THIS WINE Their First wine obtained entirely from Verdicchio grapes from vineyards of different ages. The oldest planted in 1978 and the most recent one planted in 2016. The grapes are harvested by hand, placed in boxes are transported immediately to the cellar where they undergo a soft pressing. The obtained must is then transferred to the fermentation glazed concrete vats. After fermentation, a few months of refinement in the same vats follow.

All of our wines are un-inoculated (fermented without adding commercial yeast) except the Banyan Gewürztraminer

incredible drinkability with brightness and ample structure

These bottles are our headlong rush into the breach

Every year the aging of the wine is different: they adapt the amount of new oak barrels that we use to reflect the structural potential of each vintage

giving this wine a unique character

Weathered mica schist covered with brown earth provides a nearly perfect soil for growing mineral-driven Rieslings

Two sites: deep

but by selecting fully ripe and 100% healthy grapes

nestled in the heart of the prestigious village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape

For the first thirty years Ted was responsible for managing the vineyards and Terry made the wine

“Liason” is something like the “1er Cru” bottling for Enderle & Moll
