Dark Blue Ribber Coffee MugA dark blue ribbed coffee mug. By ribbed I mean it is textured vertically on the outside. The glaze is call Enzian. It's mainly a lovely blue but as it "breaks" over the texture it turns a slight burnt brown. Thrown on the wheel and finished by hand. Fired to 1240 degrees. Food safe and fine and go in the dishwasher. 9 cms tall 8 cms across Measurements are approximate

Glazed with my favourite blue glaze "Enzian"

The glazing is inspired by the beaches of the Gower Peninsular in South Wales where I was brought up

The bowl was thrown and trimmed on the wheel

But on the contrary these "pourers" are for olive oil or salad dressing and will look good in any kitchen or on any dining table
