It is home to Adelphi Distillery, one of the most prestigious and environmentally sustainable distilleries in Scotland. Adelphi produces both peated and unpeated whisky, made with barley grown on the estate of one of the distillery owners. The Adelphi range is about bottling rare casks and Glenrothes 1991 57. 70% is one of few that we managed to get our hands on!

A Semillon-dominant blend (55% to 45% Sauvignon Blanc) gives this wine a lovely richness of body kept in perfect balance by crisp acidity
