Capovilla Grappa di BassanoFrom Italy's Distillati Capovilla comes this Grappa di Bassano, produced using the pomace of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Vespaiolo grapes. The pomace is distilled slowly at a low temperature thanks to the use of a bain marie method. It's rather rare to see a grappa named 'di Bassano', at it requires the liquid to be made only with pomace local to the Veneto town of Bassano del Grappa. The grappa is fairly floral, namely white flowers,

and 15% corn (compare to the more common "barely legal" 51% rye and high corn content of most rye whiskeys
