Cocchi Americano Aperitif
Description
Cocchi Americano AperitifAn aromatized wine created in 1891 by Giulio Cocchi, the name Americano is both due to the alcohol made bitter (amaricato) by the addition of herbs and spices and to the American habit of drinking vermouth with ice and soda. A base of moscato dasti, a sweet white wine, is fortified with a touch of brandy, then flavored with gentian, cinchona bark and other bittering aromatics, along with orange peels and herbs. On its label is the original rooster
